I really haven’t had as much free time this week as I thought I would. But, in spite of other tasks taking priority, I’ve managed to get the iron for the SET all wired into the top plate.
Here is what it looks like today.
The back side of the top plate is looking dirty. This is a combination of shellac flakes from transformer wires, rosin splatter from soldering, and tiny saliva droplets from me blowing on solder connections. The top side still is aging nicely.
The next step is running wires around to deliver power to filaments, signal stages, and output transformers. After that, it’s mounting components and getting everything ready to install the top plate on the chassis. It shouldn’t take that long, I just need to get a good block of time to get things done.
As always, questions and comments are welcome.
