I’ve been taking it easy the last week and a half in the run up to Christmas. But today Front Panel Express came through with the front plate for the new project. Time to get back to work.

In all truth, the chassis work will have to wait for next week. This weekend is very busy with family and friends. But the front plate looks perfect. Here it is.

This photo is a little out of focus. The engraving is actually very sharp. Much sharper in fact than seen in this picture. Please ignore my fingerprints and smudges.

This plate will cover two openings in the chassis. The center one with the source selector switch and the gain adjustment knob and the right hand one with the power switch and indicator. This will also be the first of my audio projects to actually bear the Cascade Tubes moniker. The front layout of the unit can bee seen in my last post “Another Indulgence“.
