Since my last post on the Source Selector Unit chassis I’ve been busy. Spring has finally started here with a vengeance so I’ve been tackling a few different projects. But rest assured, the chassis work will be back to the forefront soon.
My first project this week was the acquisition of about 60# of fresh spring asparagus. This required a road trip to get morning picked asparagus direct from the growers (the first spring asparagus is the absolute best) and then to split the load with a family member. The following day was entirely consumed with pickling over 20 large jars of asparagus, enough to last the year.
No sooner was that completed when I realized that my spring planting was falling behind. So I got all my tomato and pepper plants in the ground, got some flower baskets planted, and got things arranged for the summer in the garden.
Following this I then realized I had promised a patio raised bed planter to my in-laws so they could do some gardening in their new apartment. If my plants were going in the ground, theirs would need to get planted soon as well. So I lost a couple of days to that project as well. It did turn out rather well and they were very pleased with it.
I tell you all this to get to the real job I did this morning. After tending to chores outside, I decided to clean up the blog page on the web site a little bit. Specifically I was interesting in updating the sidebar links. It has been a while and I am getting some web traffic on some older articles which I realized can only be found via the search function. I thought that the more popular of these should be included in the “Articles of Note” list in the right sidebar on the blog page. So the list has been updated.
Some of the external links which got little traffic have been removed and I’ve added links to some of the more popular older posts/articles. Heres the new list of links.

And now that this is done, I can get back to work on the chassis. I should have some more updates in a few days.
As always, questions and comments are welcome.
These are some great thoughts. I am glad that you wrote them down to be able to preserve and share them. I especially enjoyed the “Quest for 20Hz Roll Off” blog.
